Even more, she is so grateful to her husband, Sumit Singh, for looking after her and communicating on her behalf as she battles ALS.<\/p>\n
But she also wanted to show how much she has lost the ability to speak in the space of just a few years.<\/p>\n
When she first debuted on TLC, some viewers made fun of her voice. Now, she wishes that she could go back to that.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is how I used to sounds and this was one of the very first Cameos I ever did,\u201d Jenny began her caption.<\/p>\n
Sure enough, the video shows her in a Cameo video \u2014 a made-to-order video service for people who are famous to record videos on request for paying fans \u2014 from a few years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember I could talk so much better back then,\u201d Jenny acknowledged.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut people used to make fun of the how I sounded,\u201d she lamented. Many of us remember those comments. People in general, and especially certain vocal 90 Day Fiance<\/em> fans, will find any reason to criticize a woman.<\/p>\n\u201cToday, because of ALS, I can barely talk,\u201d Jenny wrote. \u201cAnd speaking has become very difficult for me.\u201d<\/p>\nOn Instagram, Jenny Slatten recalled how people made fun of her voice years before her ALS diagnosis. Now, she can hardly speak. \u201cJust like people judged me then, I see people judging Sumit too,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it hurts me,\u201d Jenny expressed, \u201cbecause he is my husband, he loves me, and I know he will always love me.\u201d<\/p>\n
She praised: \u201cHe is also my only caregiver and helps me every day with my ALS and with things I can no longer do myself.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jenny reminded her fans and followers: \u201cPeople don\u2019t see what happens behind the closed doors.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSo enjoy every day, appreciate what you have,\u201d Jenny advised.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd,\u201d she emphasized, \u201cdon\u2019t let other people\u2019s opinions take away from your happiness.\u201d<\/p>\n
If Jenny were the sort to run from other people\u2019s bad attitudes, she\u2019d have let Sumit\u2019s parents run her off years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cNothing stays the same forever,\u201d Jenny concluded. \u201cToday is the best \u2014 we don\u2019t know what tomorrow will bring.\u201d<\/p>\n
