Kanye West<\/a> – allows her kids to be in the spotlight as much as they feel “comfortable” with but admitted she had to “hold back” her teenage daughter, who is an aspiring musician and released her first EP earlier this year, as well as appearing on the cover of Dazed magazine.<\/p>\nKim told The Sunday Times Style magazine: \u201cI do worry about it. Each kid does what they\u2019re comfortable with. So, my little ones come around when I\u2019m filming but they don\u2019t really do storylines.<\/p>\n
“North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back. All she wants to do is forward-facing projects.\u201d<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Despite their differences in the past, Kim and Kanye are “aligned” when it comes to North’s career and they don’t agree to all opportunities that come her way.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cAnd so it\u2019s like us really kind of trying to savour those moments and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way. And with her, since it\u2019s more music-related, that is something that her dad and I have better communication about. We make sure that we\u2019re aligned and that she\u2019s in projects that we both approve.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAlthough the Skims founder has four nannies on rotation, she is a hands-on mum who does the school run herself and always joins her brood for dinner.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI think I am an intermediate-strict parent. I\u2019m extremely patient and loving. I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe All’s Fair actress wants her kids to understand the importance of working hard and being grateful for their advantages.<\/p>\n
\nShe said of her wealth: \u201cIt\u2019s something I talk to my kids about constantly, about hard work, never taking things for granted, always having gratitude. I lead by example. I\u2019m really open with them about my work, all of the hard work that I put into my law studies, and they\u2019re proud.<\/p>\n
\n“I think that you can have a big life and still have that spirit in you. But it is more challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKim has been studying law and, despite previously failing the bar exam, she’s determined to sit it again, but only when she has enough time to devote to preparation.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI saw somewhere, everywhere, that I gave up. I never give up, but I\u2019m just going to take it on my own time and make sure I\u2019m extremely prepared and don\u2019t have other projects going on at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n
