Joshua Jackson<\/strong><\/a> and Mary-Margaret Humes<\/strong><\/a> reunite at the Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala Benefitting F Cancer <\/em>on Saturday (October 3) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. <\/p>\n

The 48-year-old actor and the 72-year-old actress co-starred in the drama series Dawson’s Creek<\/strong><\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Also marking the Dawson’s<\/em> reunion at the event were creator Kevin Williamson<\/strong><\/a>, production consultant Julie Plec<\/strong><\/a>, and executive producer Greg Berlanti<\/strong><\/a>, who attended with his husband Robbie Rogers<\/strong><\/a> and their two kids.<\/p>\n

The event is held in honor of Greg<\/strong>‘s late mother, Barbara<\/strong>, who passed away in 2017 due to complications from lung cancer. The gala “honors those who are making a real impact in the cancer space, in honor of Barbara Berlanti<\/strong>, and supporting F*** Cancer\u2019s early detection, prevention, and psychosocial initiatives.”<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother, Barbara Berlanti<\/strong>, dedicated her life to giving back to others. Lung cancer took her life too soon, but I know this work being done in her memory would give her immeasurable peace and happiness,” Greg<\/strong> previously shared in a statement. “May this program give others the greatest gift of all \u2013 more life and time with the people they love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Greg<\/strong> and Robbie<\/strong> serve as Chairmen of the event, which honored Katherina LaNasa<\/strong>, Kevin Williamson<\/strong>, and Jason Collins<\/strong> this year.<\/p>\n

<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

If you didn’t know, Mary-Margaret<\/strong> was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2007, and revealed it last year after a private battle many years prior. <\/p>\n

She opened up about her own diagnosis<\/a> after her Dawson’s Creek<\/em> son James Van Der Beek<\/strong><\/a> was also diagnosed, and ahead of a Dawson’s<\/em> reunion to benefit James<\/strong> and F Cancer<\/a> last September before his passing earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Many stars stepped out for this weekend’s Heroes Gala<\/em>, including The Pitt<\/em> creator R Scott Gemmill <\/strong>and stars Noah Wyle<\/strong><\/a>, Shawn Hatosy<\/strong><\/a>, Gerran Howell<\/strong><\/a>, Fiona Dourif<\/strong><\/a>, Katherine LaNasa<\/strong><\/a> and husband Grant Show<\/strong><\/a>, Taylor Dearden<\/strong><\/a>, Brandon Mendez Homer<\/strong><\/a>, and Laetitia Hollard<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
