Kim Kardashian needed time to heal<\/p>\n
The Kardashians star split from the controversial rapper – with whom she has children North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and seven-year-old Psalm – in 2021 after almost seven years of marriage, and aside from a short-lived romance with Pete Davidson, the brunette beauty had largely been alone until finding love with Lewis Hamilton, and she insisted she never felt “empty” without a relationship or in a “rush” to get romantically involved with someone new.<\/p>\n
She told the Sunday Times Style magazine: \u201cI was really single for five years. And that felt great. I could focus on my kids and projects that I really wanted to be involved with.<\/p>\n
“I really felt no rush. Like, I really didn\u2019t feel empty. I felt like I needed my time. I wanted to completely heal and just work on myself. I wasn\u2019t ready to open up. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“I really wasn\u2019t even thinking about it. The universe works in your favour when you just allow it to.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKim has yet to speak publicly about Lewis and admitted she’s rather keep her romance with the Formula 1 driver private.<\/p>\n
\nAsked if she was willing to talk about their relationship, she said: \u201cIn the most respectful way, I\u2019d probably rather not.”<\/p>\n
\nThe 45-year-old beauty believes her family’s reality shows have brought them closer and acted as therapy because they’ve always been willing to tackle conflict head-on while on camera.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: \u201cI feel like I\u2019ve lived my life super-open and authentically, and I don\u2019t know if [being on reality TV] has forced that, even more than my personality would have allowed.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt has allowed us to face things. On the episodes we never typically would want to end anything on a bad note. So having a conversation that was tough or a fight, we\u2019d always talk it out before the end of that episode.<\/p>\n
\n“In a way that might have been our therapy. I\u2019m a super-positive person, I don\u2019t think a lot of people can handle it, but I think it\u2019s brought us extremely close as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, the All’s Fair actress thinks she’s found a new confidence in her 40s.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThere\u2019s definitely something about being in your forties that gives you this extra confidence. You know your path and that feels good.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nKim has also toned down the beauty tweakments she used to undergo and is more interested in a wider view of her health now.<\/p>\n
\nShe explained: \u201cI\u2019ve switched my mentality, and now I\u2019m coming from a place of longevity and cellular health. <\/p>\n
\n“I love trying things to make me feel confident but I\u2019m more into things that contribute to a healthy lifestyle. So right now I\u2019m super into hyperbaric chambers and red light therapy.\u201d<\/p>\n
