Jennifer Meyer<\/a> have finalised their divorce – nearly 10 years after they split. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The former couple filed for divorce in 2020 and were legally declared single on September 21, according to court documents obtained by the New York Post’s Page Six.<\/p>\n
The documents read: “Judgment of dissolution is entered. Marital or domestic partnership status is terminated, and the parties are restored to the status of single persons.”<\/p>\n
Actor Tobey, 51, and jewellery designer Jennifer, 49, bifurcated their marital status, meaning the court has given the exes a separate trial to resolve “other issues” in their divorce. The specifics of those outstanding matters are not known.<\/p>\n

The judgment was filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday (01.10.26), <\/p>\n
\nThe documents read: “The Court shall reserve jurisdiction to hear and determine all issues raised by the Petition and Response herein, other than dissolution of the parties\u2019 marital status.”<\/p>\n
\nSpider-Man star Tobey and Jennifer also agreed to have a private judge oversee any outstanding disagreements as they work towards finalising a larger settlement, according to documents Jennifer filed on September 16.<\/p>\n
\nThe pair met in 2003 when he was shooting the sport\/documentary film Seabiscuit at Universal Studios, and they got engaged in April 2006.<\/p>\n
\nTobey and Jennifer welcomed their daughter Ruby in November that year; they tied the knot in Kona, Hawaii, in September 2007, and welcomed son Otis in May 2009.<\/p>\n
\nIn October 2016, Tobey and Jennifer split after nine years of marriage, and she filed for divorce in October 2020.<\/p>\n
\nThe couple said in a joint statement at the time: “After much soul-searching and consideration, we have made the decision to separate as a couple.<\/p>\n
\n“As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.”<\/p>\n
\nJennifer has been engaged to music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi since August 2024, and they welcomed their first child together, a baby girl, in June 2026.<\/p>\n
\nShe previously admitted she and Tobey are still very close.<\/p>\n
\nAppearing on an episode of the Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson + Olivia Allen podcast, she explained: “Tobey is my best friend now. We travel together, we do every holiday together, I’m so lucky.<\/p>\n
\n“I literally have the best ex-husband in the world, and I hit the jackpot. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him in my life. I ride for him so hard. He’s so phenomenal.”<\/p>\n
\nTobey is even on good terms with Jennifer’s partner, but she admitted their positive arrangement is the result of “a lot of work”.<\/p>\n
