Their relationship had remained relatively private until recent years.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the abrupt split, Zilis did not appear interested in trashing her former partner.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, she offered a complimentary assessment of Musk, writing that she was grateful she had been able to make him feel \u201cdeeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also described their home and family as a \u201csafe space\u201d for Musk, saying it was filled with \u201chappiness and love, not war.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m hurting, but care deeply about E and will always be cheering for his happiness,\u201d Zilis wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod speed, Elon, the world is lucky to have you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Zilis added that she hopes she and Musk can remain friends and co-parents.<\/p>\n<p>Musk, meanwhile, has not publicly explained what prompted the sudden breakup.
