Phony<\/em> is a coming-of-age mystery about a teenager who wakes up in the hospital after a car accident to discover his mom \u2014 his only parent and best friend \u2014 appears to have been replaced by an impostor.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Who else stars in the show?<\/h3>\n

In addition to Connie<\/strong> and Sam<\/strong>, the upcoming series also stars Grace Brennan<\/strong>, Maliq Johnson<\/strong>, Colter Lee<\/strong>, Meera Syal<\/strong>, and Mahaela Park<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Nick Paley<\/strong> created the series, wrote the first two episodes, and directs half of the first season. He also executive produces alongside co-showrunner Anthony King<\/strong>, Connie Britton<\/strong>, Charlie Alderman<\/strong>, and Drew Goddard<\/strong> and Sarah Esberg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
