The Lowe<\/strong> family is mourning a tragic loss. <\/p>\n

Actor Chad Lowe<\/strong><\/a> and wife Kim Painter<\/strong><\/a>‘s 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe<\/strong>, has sadly passed away, the family shared in a statement on Tuesday (September 29).<\/p>\n

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona<\/strong>,” the family said, via People<\/a><\/em>, remembering her as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,\u201d the family’s statement continued. \u201cIn fact, she was the light of our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fiona<\/strong> is the middle child of Chad<\/strong> and Kim<\/strong>, who are also parents to daughters Mabel<\/strong>, 17, and Nixie<\/strong>, 10.<\/p>\n

Nearly one year ago, Chad<\/strong> shared the above photo on Instagram, celebrating Fiona<\/strong>‘s 13th birthday. <\/p>\n

“Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!! Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!” he wrote in the caption, along with several red heart emojis.<\/p>\n

Much like his older brother Rob Lowe<\/strong><\/a>, Chad<\/strong> is also an actor, and most recently appeared in a recurring role as Rob<\/strong>‘s onscreen brother in 9-1-1: Lone Star<\/em>.<\/p>\n
