Charlie Sheen<\/strong><\/a> and real-life dad Martin Sheen<\/strong><\/a> are going to be working together on a new comedy series for AMC and AMC+.<\/p>\n

The real father-son duo will play father and son on the upcoming show Happy Jack<\/em><\/strong>, which will be the network’s first-ever multi-camera show. For those who don’t know, multi-cams are usually shot in front of a live studio audience and have multiple cameras set up to capture everything, instead of using one camera with multiple takes.<\/p>\n

Happy Jack<\/em> will begin production in early 2027 on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n

Deadline <\/a>reports the show stars “Charlie Sheen<\/strong> as Jack, a bit of a lifelong ne\u2019er-do-well. He\u2019s got two great daughters, although his Dad, played by Martin Sheen<\/strong>, deserves more credit for how they turned out. Kate runs Jack\u2019s company and keeps him on the rails while Sam is a wild child who is more like her Dad. When Sam comes home to introduce everyone to her new boyfriend, Jack\u2019s shocked to learn Paul, a former investment banker turned van life guru, is the same age as he is. Shocked at first, Jack soon realizes he\u2019s got a choice to make. Will he keep looking out for number one, or embrace this last chance to be a real part of his daughters\u2019 lives?”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Jim Patterson<\/strong> and Matt Ross<\/strong>, who both worked on Two and a Half Men<\/em>, will write the show and serve as co-showrunners.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that it\u2019s been a minute, and I\u2019m thrilled to be going back on television in such a meaningful way in an equally wonderful show. The crew has reassembled \u2014 suffice it to say, it\u2019s time to give the people what they want.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What else have Charlie and Martin Sheen done together?<\/h3>\n

Charlie<\/strong> and Martin<\/strong> previously worked together in movies like 1987’s Wall Street<\/em>, 1990’s Cadence<\/em>, and 1998’s No Code of Conduct<\/em>, as well as the TV show Anger Management<\/em> from 2012 to 2014. <\/p>\n

Martin<\/strong> also guest-starred on Charlie<\/strong>‘s shows Spin City<\/em> and Two and a Half Men<\/em>. <\/p>\n
