Zahara Jolie<\/strong><\/a> has officially changed her last name.<\/p>\n

A judge approved the 21-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/a> and Brad Pitt<\/strong><\/a>‘s petition to legally remove “Pitt<\/strong>” from her name on Monday (September 28).<\/p>\n

She will now legally go by Zahara Marley Jolie<\/strong>, according to court records obtained by People.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

When Did Zahara File to Change Her Name?<\/h3>\n

Zahara<\/strong> filed to remove “Pitt” from her last name earlier this year.<\/a><\/p>\n

Her petition was filed in June and dated back to April 28. She later completed California’s legal notice requirement by publishing notice of the requested name change <\/a>in the Los Angeles Daily Journal. <\/p>\n

She had already been publicly using Zahara Marley Jolie<\/strong> before the change became official.<\/p>\n

She introduced herself using that name while joining Alpha Kappa Alpha at Spelman College in 2023 and was also announced as Zahara Marley Jolie<\/strong> at her college graduation earlier this year. <\/a><\/p>\n

Zahara<\/strong> is now the third of Angelina<\/strong> and Brad<\/strong>‘s six children to legally drop “Pitt<\/strong>” from their last name.<\/p>\n

Shiloh Jolie<\/strong><\/a> had her name change granted in 2024<\/a>, while Maddox Jolie<\/strong><\/a> officially dropped “Pitt<\/strong>” earlier this month.<\/a><\/p>\n

Their younger sister Vivienne Jolie-Pitt<\/strong><\/a> has also filed to change her legal name<\/a> to Vivienne Marcheline Jolie<\/strong>, with her hearing scheduled for November 2.<\/p>\n

Angelina<\/strong> and Brad<\/strong> also share sons Pax<\/strong> and Knox<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Maddox Jolie<\/strong> officially dropped “Pitt<\/strong>” from his last name earlier this month.<\/a><\/p>\n
