\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t ABC News\u2019 correspondent Will Reeve<\/strong><\/a> has revealed a testicular cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n The 34-year-old journalist was diagnosed in April, and as of September 2026, he is cancer free!<\/p>\n He said that his wife Amanda<\/strong>, whom he had wed just months earlier, <\/a>encouraged him to get a suspicious lump checked out on his left testicle. He underwent an orchiectomy to remove the testicle, which led to the cancer diagnosis in May 2026.<\/p>\n He ultimately found out he had embryonal carcinoma. According to the Cleveland Clinic<\/a>, it is a \u201crare form of testicular cancer. It\u2019s a type of tumor that consists of abnormal germ cells \u2014 the cells that eventually mature into sperm. Common treatments include surgery to remove the tumor and chemotherapy. Although it\u2019s an aggressive cancer, the prognosis is good if you receive treatment before the cancer has spread.\u201d<\/p>\n After the diagnosis, he later underwent a procedure called a retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, which removed lymph nodes to ensure the cancer would not spread. He unfortunately had to undergo chemotherapy in July, as some of the lymph nodes were found to have the cancer in them. He did two cycles of chemotherapy. He finally was able to ring the bell at the end of July to signify the end of his treatment.<\/p>\n \u201cI want folks to know that this is a thing that can happen. It\u2019s shocking. It\u2019s weird. It\u2019s slightly awkward to talk about just because of what we\u2019re really discussing here, but that you end up okay, almost always,\u201d he shared with ABC<\/a>.<\/p>\n If you don\u2019t know, Will<\/strong> is the youngest child of Christopher<\/strong> and Dana Reeve<\/strong>. Christopher became paralyzed after being thrown from a horse when Will was only two years old, and passed in 2004 at age 52. His mom passed away from lung cancer just two years later at 44.<\/p>\n Will <\/strong>told People<\/a>. \u201cThe irony is not lost on me that 20 years after my mom died of lung cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering, there I was in the same building getting treated for cancer. I was experiencing life as each of my parents at the same time. Because I was a cancer patient at Memorial Sloan Kettering, I was getting a firsthand experience at what my mother went through. Simultaneously, I was learning more about what it was like to be my dad in the final nine years of his life, where he had my mom and our family taking care of him.
