Colin Farrell<\/a>, and while it only debuted on Sunday (27.09.26), the 36-year-old star admitted the promo – in which she plays a woman seemingly involved in an abusive relationship with the Batman actor’s character, while Taylor is dressed identically to her pal as the ghost of the man’s late wife – has been a \u201clong time coming.\u201d<\/p>\nSpeaking to BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, Dakota said: \u201cTaylor and I are really good friends, and we talk a lot about everything, everything on the planet.<\/p>\n
\u201cA lot of that is true crime, and she\u2019s a genius person, and if you talk about world-building, I think the inside of her mind is this miraculous, intricate wonderland.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so, she asked if I would do this, and of course, I\u2019ll do anything with her; she\u2019s the most fun.”<\/p>\n
\nBoth Dakota and Greg were among the 1,000 guests at Taylor and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden in July, and the Fifty Shades of Grey actress couldn’t have imagined the Fate of Ophelia singer planning her big day in any other way.<\/p>\n
\nHailing the wedding as “so fun”, she said: \u201cIt was so like\u2026 everything she\u2019s dreamed of. It just felt so completely her.”<\/p>\n
\nAsked if she thought any photos from the wedding would ever be leaked, she simply said: “No.”<\/p>\n
\nFollowing the premiere of the video at the MTV VMAs, Taylor thanked Dakota, Colin, and co-star Cara Delevingne, as well as cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, for their work on the promo.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote on Instagram: “The \u2018Patient Zero\u2019 video is finally out in the world!\u201d she wrote. \u201cGetting to work with Emmanuel Lubezki was something out of a dream sequence, and I learned so much from getting to watch his genius in action. <\/p>\n
\n“I want to thank Dakota and Colin for trusting me with their time, taste, and talent (giggling with your friend because you\u2019re twinning for an entire shoot was a new and truly delightful experience). And Colin\u2019s turn as a villain is even more impressive when you get to be around him. He\u2019s an absolute light and as kind as they come. Cara, thank you for agreeing to play the lusty other woman. That\u2019s what friends are for? <\/p>\n
\n“With the \u2018Patient Zero\u2019 video, I got to explore the cinematic and literary genres I love so much. I wanted to incorporate elements of gothic ghost stories, true crime, psychological thrillers all in a setting I hadn\u2019t really shot in much.<\/p>\n
\n“The house was a metaphor for the coldness of a relationship that\u2019s faded and atrophied. <\/p>\n
\n“Thank you to Ethan Tobman for your insightful production design, and bringing that feeling to life. My editor Chancler Haynes has outdone himself.
