\u201cI just want to save your life,\u201d Teresa can be heard telling her daughter in the footage (per Page Six).<\/p>\n
She then tells an officer that Milania \u201chad fentanyl in her system.\u201d<\/p>\n
Milania, meanwhile, appears to offer an explanation of her own.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2019Cause I was laced, I go to college,\u201d she says, according to the footage.<\/p>\n
The exchange appears to reference an incident that occurred before Milania was taken to a hospital and subsequently placed under Florida\u2019s Baker Act, which allows someone to be temporarily detained for a mental health evaluation.<\/p>\n
\nIt is not clear from the footage exactly when the alleged fentanyl exposure occurred, whether Milania received medical treatment for it, or what she means by saying she was \u201claced.\u201d<\/p>\n
In other portions of the bodycam footage, Teresa and Milania\u2019s older sister, Gia Giudice, are seen trying to communicate with her as police officers assist the family.<\/p>\n
Gia reportedly tells officers that the family had hired a counselor to help Milania.<\/p>\n
Teresa can again be heard emphasizing that she wants to protect her daughter.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to save your life,\u201d she tells Milania.<\/p>\n
The footage comes just days after Milania\u2019s very public meltdown at the airport.<\/p>\n
\nMilania shared the original video of the confrontation, in which she repeatedly asked, \u201cThis is what we do now?\u201d<\/p>\n
Teresa responded by telling her daughter that she loved her, while Gia urged everyone to let Milania do what she wanted.<\/p>\n
Milania then snapped at her mother, telling the Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/em> star to \u201cshut the f\u2013k up.\u201d<\/p>\nPolice were called after Milania reportedly became separated from her family and counselor. Authorities were told she had been experiencing suicidal thoughts and a mental breakdown.<\/p>\n
Milania\u2019s representative later said she was \u201cunder the care of professionals\u201d and surrounded by people who love her as she navigates an \u201cincredibly difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n
That difficult period has included her May arrest on a simple assault charge and the recent death of her childhood friend Victoria.<\/p>\n
For now, Teresa and her family appear determined to get Milania whatever help she needs.<\/p>\n
And judging by this latest bodycam footage, they\u2019re taking that mission very seriously.<\/p>\n
