Carson and Rodriguez, who rose to fame as late night host Jimmy Kimmel\u2019<\/strong>s sidekick, were saved from elimination during DWTS<\/em>\u2019 Viral Hits Night despite receiving low scores for their paso doble to Rihanna<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cWhere Have You Been.\u201d<\/p>\n\u201cI feel like we\u2019re slowly winning them over<\/a>,\u201d Carson exclusively told Us<\/em> of judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough<\/strong> and Bruno Tonioli<\/strong> after the Tuesday, September 22, live show.<\/p>\n\u201cYeah, little by little,\u201d Rodriguez replied. \u201cWe didn\u2019t hear [any] bad comments, nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rodriguez, for his part, shared that he felt more confident performing on Tuesday than he did during the show\u2019s premiere earlier this month.<\/p>\n
\u201cI feel way better. Last week, I was nervous a lot. This week I was nervous a little bit \u2026 but it was a great music [choice]. Witney chose it,\u201d Rodriguez said, while Carson added, \u201cRihanna makes him feel confident. So I was like, \u2018We\u2019re going with Rihanna this week,\u2019 absolutely.
