Hugh Jackman<\/a><\/strong> is finally suiting the heck up in Wolverine<\/a><\/strong>\u2019s comic book black and yellow costume in Deadpool 3<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n In a photo shared Monday morning (Jul. 10, 2023) on Ryan Reynolds<\/a><\/strong>\u2019 Instagram Story, Jackman can be seen in full comic book costume, sans mask, next to Deadpool. There\u2019s not much else in the photo, but honestly? That\u2019s enough.<\/p>\n As the longest-tenured superhero actor, Hugh Jackman has played Logan\/Wolverine through several eras of superhero cinema now, starting in 2000 with the slightly self-conscious sci-fi of X-Men and seemingly retiring from the role in 2017 Logan<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n Now that Deadpool 3<\/em> is bringing him back, the actor is finally getting to play around in the era of multiversal shenanigans and all other kinds of comic book chicanery that were verboten for much of his career.<\/p>\n Jackman isn\u2019t the only one returning to an old role for the new Deadpool. Jennifer Garner<\/strong> will return to the Marvel universe as Elektra<\/a> for the first time since 2003\u2019s Daredevil.<\/em> That version of Daredevil<\/em> was played by Ben Affleck<\/strong>, though there are no announcements of him joining Deadpool and Wolverine in the new movie just yet.
