Ready to feel old (again)? People who weren’t even born when “I’m A Slave 4 U” dropped back in September 2001 are giving the song its highest streaming numbers in years, according to Spotify.<\/p>\n

More than half of the song’s streams (55%) came from Gen Z listeners, and 27% of those streams were from listeners who were born in the years after Spears debuted the song at the VMAs. Spotify added that there have been over 40 million \u201cdiscoveries\u201d of Spears\u2019 catalog on the streaming platform in 2026. 60% of those \u201cdiscoveries\u201d have come from Gen Z listeners (born between 1997 to 2012).<\/p>\n

I suppose that’s why her label added I’m A Slave 4 U (Remixes) to her Spotify account on Sept 25th?<\/p>\n
