Chris Hansen<\/strong><\/a> is sharing his thoughts on the movie Primetime<\/em><\/strong>, which follows Robert Pattinson<\/strong><\/a> playing him during the To Catch a Predator<\/em> days. <\/p>\n

The former Dateline NBC<\/em> journalist, now 67, has previously said that he wasn\u2019t consulted for the movie and didn\u2019t get to watch it advance because the film studio allegedly requested that he sign a document to see it early. And he didn\u2019t want to sign it.<\/p>\n

Hansen <\/strong>went to see the movie on opening night and shared his thoughts on the movie in an interview with Jesse Watters<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat was in it, in my mind, was something that was so overly dramatized, so detached from reality, as the director put it, a \u2018fever dream,\u2019 that almost hit me as something that was so far from reality that it wouldn\u2019t even bother me,\u201d Hansen said. <\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cIn a way it\u2019s a hit piece on me and the series, which is weird because all we do is expose bad human beings who try to hurt children. So in that respect, it\u2019s an insult to the thousands of men and women who want to do the same thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chris<\/strong> was not a fan of the movie or<\/em> Rob<\/strong>\u2018s performance. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s overly dramatic, drawn out, they make him look like a character in a horror film. There\u2019s all kinds of green hue on his face. He\u2019s obviously having a mental breakdown. This version of Chris Hansen, played by Robert Pattinson, was so detached, so unhinged, so dark, so unlikable, I mean it\u2019s upset my colleagues present and former,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

Chris <\/strong>gave Robert <\/strong>a \u201cD\u201d grade for his performance and said he\u2019s the \u201conly guy that counts\u201d when it comes to giving a review.<\/p>\n
