Nikki Glaser<\/strong><\/a> apologized to Briel Adams-Wheatley<\/strong>, a transgender influencer who was born without limbs, after making her the subject of a \u201cdumb\u201d joke at a comedy show.<\/p>\n

Adams-Wheatley, 27, took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, August 24, to share a screenshot of a DM she received from a fan who informed her about Glaser\u2019s joke while on stage in Ridgefield, Washington, over the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cWere you aware you are a topic in Nikki Glaser\u2019s current set?\u201d the fan asked the content creator. \u201cI didn\u2019t like the jokes. Love your content, thought you should be aware.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adams-Wheatley responded, \u201cOh no. What were the jokes she made about me?\u201d<\/p>\n

The fan told Adams-Wheatley that Glaser, 42, gave her \u201clots of compliments\u201d before quipping that the internet personality already had a \u201chard life with no limbs but still decided to transition.\u201d Glaser then allegedly joked that Adams-Wheatley \u201chad to\u201d transition because she \u201crubbed [her] penis off with the way [she dragged herself] across the room.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adams-Wheatley tagged Glaser in the post and wrote, \u201cWhy are you making comments about what is or is not in my pants?\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI bought tickets for your show in November and now I\u2019m really rethinking my plans.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hours later, Adams-Wheatley shared another screenshot of a DM from Glaser herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey girl. I\u2019m so sorry this got back to you like this,\u201d Glaser purportedly wrote. \u201cI should have reached out to you. I never meant to hurt your feelings at all. This is not an accurate portrayal of the joke, but I\u2019m sure it\u2019s still not fun to hear you\u2019re in my act.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI HATE anti trans jokes of all kinds, and to think I may have added to that rhetoric is disgusting to me. I make sure to say in the joke multiple times, \u2018I love her, please follow her, she\u2019s so f***ing funny and cool.\u2019 (Not that that takes away from anything if you were offended by it.)\u201d<\/p>\n

Glaser concluded, \u201cBut I want you to know my intent. it\u2019s a dumb joke and I will lose it immediately. I love you and I\u2019m so sorry!\u201d<\/p>\n
