George Clooney<\/strong><\/a> and his wife, Amal<\/strong><\/a>, are taking turns to be with friends Cindy Crawford<\/strong><\/a> and Rande Gerber<\/strong><\/a> during a very difficult time. <\/p>\n

The 65-year-old actor and the lawyer are among a group of friends who are taking shifts to stay with their longtime friends after the passing of their son, Presley<\/strong><\/a>, earlier this week.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeorge<\/strong>, Amal<\/strong> and a few of their other close friends have been taking shifts staying with the family so they aren\u2019t alone,” a source told People<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n

\u201cGeorge<\/strong> and Amal<\/strong> joined the family in Los Angeles after learning of Presley<\/strong>\u2019s death,\u201d the source added. \u201cThey\u2019re helping with arrangements and whatever else the family needs. George<\/strong> has always been very close with both Kaia<\/strong><\/a> and Presley<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source told Page Six<\/a><\/em> this week that George<\/strong> and Amal<\/strong> “are absolutely beside themselves with grief. George<\/strong> is completely shattered by Presley<\/strong>\u2019s death. He\u2019s known him his entire life, and he never imagined things would ever get to this point.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe always saw Cindy <\/strong>and Rande<\/strong> as having this beautiful family, and he can\u2019t begin to imagine what they\u2019re going through right now,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

If you don’t know, George<\/strong> has been friends with Cindy<\/strong> and Rande <\/strong>for decades, and the two guys are even business partners on the Casamigos tequila brand.<\/p>\n

Just days before Presley<\/strong>‘s unexpected passing, his sister Kaia<\/strong> mentioned him in a new interview<\/a>. <\/p>\n

While an official cause of death has not been revealed at this time, dispatch calls to the rehab facility where he died reportedly mentioned cardiac arrest and a suspected overdose.<\/p>\n
