Season 5 of Special Forces: World\u2019s Toughest Test<\/em> <\/a>got off to a dramatic start when one celebrity had to medically withdraw \u2014 and now they are speaking out about the exit.<\/p>\n

The Thursday, September 24, premiere presented contestants with the challenge of jumping out of a helicopter headfirst into the ocean. They then had to swim back to the dock quickly, which proved to be a challenge for several recruits, and Brandi Glanville<\/strong><\/a> suffered lasting medical issues that led to her dismissal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI over-rotated. I know it felt like my head hit the water, and it was so hard,\u201d Glanville exclusively told Us<\/em> of her instant reaction. \u201cIt was like immediately I was dizzy and I thought my whole body was in the water. Then my body hits the water after that. It was just like being run over by a truck.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glanville recalled continuing to struggle<\/a>, adding, \u201cIt was crazy, and then I came up and I\u2019m trying to swim. My whole body is in pain. My right arm is the only thing I can use, and I have all the water kicking up from the jet skis. So I\u2019m drinking the water and I\u2019m thinking, \u2018Parasites!\u2019 That\u2019s all I can think about. Like, what is happening in my mouth?\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIt is never easy to unexpectedly say goodbye to your favorite characters \u2014 and 2026 has featured an influx of shocking departures on our TV screens from Grey\u2019s Anatomy\u00a0to Virgin River. Virgin River fans were surprised when showrunner Patrick Sean Smith confirmed multiple characters were written off the show after season 7. Marco Grazzini addressed [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As soon as she got back on land, Glanville felt several injuries.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone kept touching me. And even just touching my back, it hurt. I was spinning. I couldn\u2019t hear out of my left ear immediately. I was about to throw up, but then the camera guy was in my face, and I\u2019m like, \u2018You\u2019re not getting this from me,’\u201d she explained. \u201cSo I sat down, and they\u2019re like, \u2018Stand up!\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018I cannot stand up. I will pass out and hit my head.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Glanville continued: \u201cOf course I\u2019m thinking all these crazy things, but everyone seemed to go through it really easily. Like, I was the second one to do it, and I\u2019m watching all these girls go do it, and I\u2019m like, \u2018Am I just a disaster? Why can\u2019t I do it like everyone else?’\u201d<\/p>\n

After departing the show, Glanville still struggled.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s hard to turn [my arm]. Then my left boob is under my armpit, so that\u2019s fun. And you\u2019d have to fix that. But I hit the water really hard,\u201d she noted. \u201cWe had to take boats because of my ear to the hospital, so we took three separate boats. We got to the hospital, and you cannot fly. I had a concussion and a perforated eardrum and all of these things. I had the worst headache where it just doesn\u2019t go away.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glanville clarified that she was \u201con the mend,\u201d adding, \u201cI think that there are still just moments where I\u2019m feeling like I\u2019m an old lady to do that. We don\u2019t recover like we used to. I mean, if I was 20, I really would have liked to dive and swim out of there.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Glanville didn\u2019t make it to the end, she expressed pride in how far she got.<\/a><\/p>\n
