The 25-year-old model and actress faced another distressing episode when her cat Tony disappeared from her Hollywood Hills neighbourhood this week, prompting Lewis, 33, influencer Jake Shane, 26, and director and photographer Carissa Gallo to put up missing-pet posters around the area. <\/p>\n
Tony was subsequently found safe after being missing for about nine hours.<\/p>\n
The posters said Tony was shy and wearing a tracker around his neck, while photographs showed Kaia\u2019s friends searching the neighbourhood and attaching notices to posts.<\/p>\n

Lewis, who has been dating Kaia since 2025, was photographed taking part in the search alongside her friends. <\/p>\n
\nHe was also seen embracing Carissa, who arrived carrying flowers and an envelope bearing Kaia\u2019s name.<\/p>\n
\nThe search came during a devastating week for Kaia and her parents, supermodel Cindy Crawford, 60, and businessman Rande Gerber, 64, following Presley\u2019s death at 27.<\/p>\n
\nPresley died at a rehabilitation facility in Santa Monica on Sunday. <\/p>\n
\nThe Santa Monica Police Department said officers were called to the 1000 block of Berkeley Street at about 9:35am following a report of a possible overdose.<\/p>\n
\nPolice said: \u201cUpon arrival, officers located an adult male who was deceased.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe department added: \u201cSMPD detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation remains ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner said Presley was pronounced dead by responding paramedics at 9:45am.<\/p>\n
\nAn examination has been completed, but officials have deferred a ruling on both the cause and manner of his death while additional testing or studies are carried out. <\/p>\n
\nThe medical examiner said deferred cases can take several months to determine.<\/p>\n
\nPresley had spoken publicly about his struggles with addiction and mental health and had documented some of his attempts at treatment on social media.<\/p>\n
\nEarlier this year he underwent ibogaine treatment at a clinic in Mexico. <\/p>\n
\nIn a post about the experience, Presley said: \u201cI was absolutely terrified, and I knew I would be again if I ever had to face something like this.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cI knew why I was there. I faced what I had been running from, and somewhere in all of it, I started finding my way back to myself\u2026 We shall see\u2026 Praying it\u2019s the last time I have to come back.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKaia responded publicly to the post, writing: \u201cThat\u2019s my brother I am so damn proud.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nCindy wrote: \u201cYou are a warrior! Walked thru the fire to find yourself! So proud!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nRande added: \u201cI\u2019m so proud of you and your courage. Facing what\u2019s hard takes real strength and watching you find your way back to yourself is everything. I love you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nPresley followed his mother and younger sister into modelling and worked with fashion houses and brands including Calvin Klein, Dolce and Gabbana and Celine. <\/p>\n
\nHe also appeared alongside Cindy in a Pepsi advertisement shown during the 2018 Super Bowl.<\/p>\n
\nKaia had spoken publicly about her brother\u2019s addiction struggles shortly before his death, telling Vogue about their effect on the family.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cWhen something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDiscussing the difference between Presley\u2019s public openness and the family\u2019s previous approach to privacy, Kaia said: \u201cMy parents for most of our lives were very, very private and didn\u2019t share anything \u2013 and now we have this absolute teacher, my brother, who says, \u2018I\u2019m gonna be very human for everyone\u2019. There\u2019s only so much you can hide from the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cAnd trying to put a lid on something just makes the person feel like you\u2019re ashamed of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKaia also revealed in an interview conducted before Presley\u2019s death that her brother had watched her latest television project, The Shards, only days before he died. <\/p>\n
\nThe Ryan Murphy series, adapted from Bret Easton Ellis\u2019s novel, stars Kaia alongside Homer Gere and is set among privileged teenagers in 1981 Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
\nThe series marks the latest step in Kaia\u2019s move from fashion into acting. <\/p>\n
\nThe daughter of one of the defining supermodels of the 1990s, she has established her own modelling career while appearing on screen in projects including American Horror Stories, American Horror Story: Double Feature, Babylon and Palm Royale.<\/p>\n
