You know, the usual.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bluesky-embed\" data-bluesky-uri=\"at:\/\/did:plc:caaaew4c3exegj5otui7ycfe\/app.bsky.feed.post\/3mw2cvho6is2h\" data-bluesky-cid=\"bafyreidappa2aylltyv3f6y7qihwlmk6kfkxjoicsetmtiz5a3mzmry7zm\" data-bluesky-embed-color-mode=\"dark\">\n<p lang=\"en\">I\u2019ve gotta say, this guy doesn\u2019t sound like an impartial juror just trying to do his civic duty \ud83d\ude10<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:caaaew4c3exegj5otui7ycfe\/post\/3mw2cvho6is2h?ref_src=embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">[image or embed]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \ud835\ude61\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude59\ud835\ude68\ud83e\uded7 (<a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:caaaew4c3exegj5otui7ycfe?ref_src=embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@mayerlingwaltz.bsky.social<\/a>) <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:caaaew4c3exegj5otui7ycfe\/post\/3mw2cvho6is2h?ref_src=embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">September 21, 2026 at 2:14 PM<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-did-someone-on-the-jury-do-something-unethical\">Did someone on the jury do something unethical?<\/h2>\n<p>Why is jury phone usage during the Lindsay Clancy trial a topic?<\/p>\n<p>The defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, filed a motion to investigate Desronvil\u2019s alleged phone use during deliberations.<\/p>\n<p>While Desronvil has apparently been advised that this works in his favor \u2014 because he is being \u201csingled out\u201d \u2014 it seems that Reddington suspects that Desronvil may have violated jury ethics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Juror_misconduct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Juror misconduct<\/a> can range from a casual mention of a case to a partner all the way to accepting a bribe or altering the deliberations because they want a book deal one day.<\/p>\n<p>Often, a juror might receive clarification or perhaps an admonishment from a judge. In some cases, some behavior amounts to criminal misconduct.
