2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-her-love-and-sympathies-go-to-those-central-to-his-life-in-his-final-years\">Her \u2018love\u2019 and \u2018sympathies\u2019 go to those central to his life in his final years<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cI will forever be grateful that, from him, I gained a deeper understanding and a reverence for the community and the culture of hardcore,\u201d Hayley Williams expressed in her tribute.<\/p>\n<p>She is keenly aware that she is not the only one grieving him.<\/p>\n<p>Williams sent her \u201clove and my sympathies\u201d to Gilbert\u2019s family, to his New Found Glory bandmates, and to \u201call his friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gilbert is survived by his wife, Lisa Cimorelli, and their 5-year-old daughter, Lily.<\/p>\n<p>All things considered, Williams did not have to leave such a generous and warm tribute to the ex who dated her when she was 18 and then cheated on her.
