The votes are in, and America\u2019s Got Talent<\/i><\/span><\/a> has crowned a new winner for season 21.<\/p>\n

During the Wednesday, September 23, season finale of NBC\u2019s reality show, host Terry Crews<\/strong> announced that singer Nene Royal<\/strong> received the most votes from viewers and was named the $1 million champion. Magician Geno Ploeger<\/strong> came in second while magic group Hundred Fingers rounded out the top 3.<\/p>\n

Trisha Paytas<\/strong> and Taylen Biggs<\/strong> served as correspondents for the live finale, which featured performances from Josh Groban<\/strong>, Linkin Park, REI AMI, Chloe Flower<\/strong>, Steve Aoki<\/strong>, Jessica Sanchez<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and Mat Franco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Just one day earlier, 10 acts took to the stage at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California, in hopes of wowing judges Sof\u00eda Vergara<\/strong>, Mel B<\/strong>, Howie Mandel<\/strong> and guest judge KSI. (Simon Cowell<\/strong> missed the live shows as he recovered from<\/span><\/a> an undisclosed procedure.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSome America\u2019s Got Talent auditions are nothing short of golden. Season 21 of NBC\u2019s hit reality show returned on June 2, 2026 with judges Simon Cowell, Sof\u00eda Vergara, Mel B and Howie Mandel ready to critique everyone from singers and dance groups to magicians and comedians. This summer, the judges \u2014 alongside host Terry Crews [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

From dance crews and magicians to singers and dog acts, viewers at home had a large variety of talent to choose from in season 21.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are so many good people,\u201d Sof\u00eda, 54, exclusively told Us<\/i> earlier this month after the semi-finals. \u201cThere\u2019s so much good talent this season that I think I\u2019m going to be very happy with whoever America votes to win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Terry, 58, was more than impressed with the magicians, who blew the audience away week after week.<\/p>\n

Season 21 of NBC\u2019s competition show was filled with so much competition that fan favorites like comedian Daniel Alvarez<\/strong> and Dancing With the Stars<\/i><\/span><\/a> singer Travis Garland<\/strong> were sent home before the finale.<\/p>\n

The amount of talent is just one of the many reasons why Howie, 70, keeps coming back to the show \u2014 and has earned the title of longest-running judge on AGT<\/i>.<\/p>\n
