\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Ree Drummond<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s foster son has been arrested.<\/p>\n The 57-year-old Pioneer Woman<\/em> star\u2019s son Jamar Goff<\/strong><\/a> was booked into Jefferson County Jail in Birmingham, Alabama, on Tuesday, September 15, around 2:30 a.m. local time, according to Us Weekly<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Jamar<\/strong>, 23, was booked on four charges, including unlawful possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault on a police officer, drug paraphernalia for use or possession and attempting to elude an officer.<\/p>\n His bond was set at $37,000 and as of Wednesday (September 24), he remains in police custody. It\u2019s unclear if Jamar <\/strong>has obtained legal counsel yet.<\/p>\n According to court documents obtained by TMZ<\/a><\/em>, an officer received a call about a suspicious person on the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus. The officer claimed to have found Jamar<\/strong> without a shirt on sleep near a fountain.<\/p>\n\n When the officer woke him to ask what he was doing on campus, Jamar<\/strong> alleged he was waiting for someone to come and sell him \u201cice,\u201d which court documents allege is another name for methamphetamine.<\/p>\n Once the officer learned that Jamar<\/strong> had a warrant out for his arrest, the 23-year-old allegedly took off running and ended up at a local hospital where he \u201cused an open-handed palm strike\u201d on an officer.<\/p>\n If you were unaware, Ree <\/strong>and her husband Ladd Drummond<\/strong> became foster parents to Jamar<\/strong> in 2018 when he was a teenager. The couple, who have been married since 1996 share four additional children).<\/p>\n In November 2020 blog post<\/a>, Ree<\/strong> wrote about how Jamar<\/strong> became a part of her family.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve never wanted to subject Jamar to more attention than he wanted or needed before he had a chance to settle in and get his bearings in our home. We needed to let things breathe,\u201d Ree<\/strong> wrote. \u201cI\u2019m now writing about Jamar because after a year-and-a-half of living in our house, he is an inextricable part of our wacky family, and it\u2019s become increasingly strange for me not to talk about him. He\u2019s 18 now, which means the state agency restrictions no longer apply\u2014and most notably, he told me he\u2019s tired of feeling like we\u2019re trying to hide him from the world.
