Taylor Lautner<\/strong><\/a> and his wife Tay Lautner<\/strong><\/a> have welcomed their first child into the world!<\/p>\n

The couple, who share the same name, have given their baby girl their name as well… though just as her middle name. <\/p>\n

Tay<\/strong> revealed that she gave birth on September 16 to a baby girl named Lennon Taylor<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Tay Lautner announces birth of baby girl<\/h3>\n

“One week loving our sweet little Lenny. Lennon Taylor Lautner. 9.16.2026,” Tay<\/strong> captioned the above post on her Instagram account. <\/p>\n

Taylor <\/strong>himself was a collaborator on the post and hasn’t added a comment of his own just yet. <\/p>\n

Tay talked about naming her baby girl Taylor<\/h3>\n

Tay<\/strong>, 29, appeared on a new episode of Call Her Daddy<\/em> with host Alex Cooper<\/strong><\/a> and talked about her pregnancy and ideas for the baby\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

Alex<\/strong> asked whether the couple had considered the name Taylor<\/strong> and Tay<\/strong> answered, \u201cIt may be in the mix. We will find out when the baby comes.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then said she felt \u201cso much pressure naming a human,\u201d and joked that the internet might \u201ccancel\u201d her if they don\u2019t end up naming the baby Taylor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019m like, guys, are you really gonna want that name?\u201d she added, wondering if that\u2019s really something fans would want.<\/p>\n

The Lautners have been together for eight years<\/h3>\n

Taylor<\/strong> and Tay<\/strong> met and began dating in 2018. They became engaged in 2021 and married in November 2022. <\/p>\n

Because they share the same first and last name now, their friends distinguish them by calling them<\/a> \u201cBoy Tay<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cGirl Tay<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n
