Lily-Rose Depp<\/strong><\/a> has been tapped to star in a coming-of-age drama movie set at the Playboy Mansion. <\/p>\n

The 27-year-old actress will star in the forthcoming project, titled Playmates<\/strong><\/em>, from director Lorraine Nicholson<\/strong><\/a>, according to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>, who had her own frequent childhood visits to the mansion. <\/p>\n

In addition to making her feature film directorial debut, Lorraine<\/strong> also penned the script.<\/p>\n

Also starring in the movie are Bill Pullman<\/strong><\/a> as Hugh Hefner<\/strong><\/a>, and Indiana Elle<\/strong>, who made her film debut in The Housemaid<\/em> last year.<\/p>\n

What is the Playmates<\/em> about?<\/h3>\n

The upcoming movie centers on Elle, \u201ca 13-year-old know-it-all who considers the Playboy Mansion her second home, and who meets Anna, one of seven hopefuls vying to be Playmate of the Month. The two form an unlikely friendship as each tries to help get what the other wants most, a magazine cover and a boy.\u201d <\/p>\n

Lily-Rose<\/strong> will play Anna, while Indiana<\/strong> will play Elle.<\/p>\n

Lorraine Nicholson previously opened up about her experiences at the Playboy mansion<\/h3>\n

Back in 2024, Lorraine<\/strong>, who is the daughter of Jack Nicholson<\/strong><\/a>, penned an essay for Vanity Fair<\/a><\/em>, where she shared many of her experiences at the mansion in the 1990s, saying it was magical at first.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never went to summer camp,\u201d the actress shared. \u201cI never had an after-school activity. From the year I was born, 1990, until I was about 11, I went to the Playboy Mansion, because that\u2019s where my friends were. There were the kids \u2014 like curly-haired Taylor, whose parents actually met at the Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream<\/em> party. There were the girls \u2014 more Playmates past, present and future \u2014 and of course, the men. Only half my friends there were actually children, but that didn\u2019t matter. The adults who hung out at the Mansion, like Alison and Joel, liked to play too.\u201d<\/p>\n
