She further alleges that she woke up the following morning to Peters having sex with her again without her consent.<\/p>\n<p>Peters has denied the allegations.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DHlzdGoPjiV\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>His representative pushed back against the way the criminal case was being characterized, telling TMZ that Peters had not been physically served and accusing The Bulwark, which first reported the charges, of exaggerating the situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBraden Peters has not been physically served. As usual, the Bulwark is exaggerating,\u201d representative Mitchell Jackson said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/clavicular-looksmaxxing-charged-rape-massachusetts-rcna599130\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A representative for Peters also told TMZ that Mendoza initially filed her civil lawsuit without a sexual-assault claim, then amended it several months later to add one.<\/p>\n<p>Peters\u2019 attorney, Steve Kramer, previously said the allegations in the civil case were \u201cunproven\u201d and that his client intended to defend himself through the appropriate legal channels.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Peters has addressed the latest controversy himself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHappens to all successful young men, people try to come for your money.
