After calling Joe and Neal\u2019s marriage into question, could Lioness<\/em> make Kyle a potential romantic interest in season 4?<\/a><\/p>\n

During an exclusive interview with Us<\/em> at the UFC 331 on Paramount+ red carpet, Dave Annable<\/strong> shared his honest thoughts on the possible twist, quipping, \u201cI hate it! Hate it!\u201d<\/p>\n

Annable, who plays Neal, clarified that he understood the interest from viewers, adding, \u201cI mean, I get it. He\u2019s handsome. He\u2019s fighting for her, you know? They want the love triangle.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Annable didn\u2019t know what\u2019s coming next, he had his own idea for a potential trio. \u201cI pitched it with Zoe [Salda\u00f1a]<\/strong>, myself and Morgan Freeman,\u201d he joked. \u201cIt got lost in my idea zone. Just we\u2019ll see. I\u2019m going to keep writing letters.\u201d<\/p>\n

The love triangle has been a frequent plot point in TV and film for years, but there is maybe no more iconic angsty trio than the one between Dawson (James Van [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Season 3 of Lioness<\/em> wrapped on Sunday, September 20, with Joe (Salda\u00f1a) retiring to an empty home after her husband, Neal, cleared out his stuff and took their two daughters with him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was time, right?\u201d Annable told Us. \u201cI think it\u2019s going to be something that I\u2019m very interested to explore next season. [It] is what that looks like after the fact. He loves his wife, but you gotta pull the trigger at some point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Costar LaMonica Garrett<\/strong>, meanwhile, joked that Neal had help<\/a> with making the decision from his character, Tucker.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think there was a draft out there that said Tucker helped him move his stuff out,\u201d he quipped, with Annable adding, \u201cBecause Neal couldn\u2019t carry it. Tucker gave me a piggyback ride.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the finale, Annable teased where Neal\u2019s head was at when it came to his marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Neal is broken. I think Neal is really hurt,\u201d he explained to Us. \u201cThere was hope that she would be on that other line, saying, \u2018I can\u2019t wait to see you guys. I\u2019m on my way.\u2019 And when she says that she\u2019s not coming home, that really paints a very clear picture for Neal about her priorities at that moment \u2014 and I don\u2019t, obviously, think he and the children are at that moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a very difficult scene to shoot \u2014 a lot of emotions and heartbreak,\u201d he noted. \u201cLike I said, it\u2019s really something that I think rocks Neal and we\u2019ll see what he does [in the future].\u201d<\/p>\n
