Big Brother<\/em><\/a> alum Kyland Young<\/strong><\/a> is giving Us<\/em> his expert opinion on the gameplay of surprise season 28 players<\/a> and crossover Survivor<\/em> <\/a>stars Dee Valladares<\/strong><\/a> and Rick Devens<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis season of Big Brother<\/em> has been absolutely insane,\u201d Kyland, 35, exclusively told Us<\/em> on Saturday, September 19, while walking the UFC 331 on Paramount+ red carpet outside Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, one \u2014 shoutout to the Survivors for sure. They are entertaining. They brought some amazing people,\u201d he continued. \u201cDee is someone who I\u2019ve met. She\u2019s wonderful. Devens, I haven\u2019t met but he was actually [on] one of the first seasons I watched of Survivor. I see why he\u2019s a fan favorite, for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in July, fans of the hit CBS reality show learned that Survivor<\/em> 50 favorite Devens, 42, would be one of 14 players joining the Big Brother<\/em> cast, vying for the coveted $750,000 prize. He was joined by Dee, 29, who fans recall won season 45 of Survivor<\/em> back in 2023, alongside remaining contestants Drew Campbell<\/strong>, Melody Morris<\/strong> and Taylor Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBoth of them are kind of pulling some amazing moves in the game,\u201d Kyland continued of the Survivor alums. \u201cI am a little biased, because I\u2019m just like, this is supposed to be the Big Brother<\/em> house, so it\u2019s kind of like we put in these icons and then we give them the powers. And then I\u2019m just like, they are doing impressive things.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cBut at the end of the day, if you\u2019ve played any of these games \u2014 just one day in one of these games \u2014 gives you [a] miles ahead advantage over someone who\u2019s never played a game like this. So it kind of does feel like I\u2019m watching NBA players compete against college players in basketball. It\u2019s not that they\u2019re not doing impressive moves, but when you add that context it\u2019s a little bit less impressive.\u201d<\/p>\n
