\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Angie Katsanevas<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out about her split from her longtime husband, Shawn Trujillo<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 52-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/strong><\/a><\/em> star and her husband of 27 years were revealed to have broken up back in July<\/a>, and the end of their relationship is playing out on the new season of the Bravo reality show, which recently premiered.<\/p>\n In a new interview, Angie<\/strong> said she \u201cabsolutely not\u201d would have believed she and her husband would grow apart. <\/p>\n \u201cNever in a million years,\u201d she told E! News<\/a><\/em>. \u201cNo, it\u2019s a hard thing to go through when you\u2019re questioning your future and what that looks like for you as a couple.\u201d<\/p>\n\n A reason why she never would have seen a split coming is her faith as a practicing Greek Orthodox Christian. <\/p>\n \u201cIn my religion or faith, you\u2019re together forever,\u201d Angie<\/strong> said. \u201cThat was my goal, obviously, in marrying Shaw<\/p>\n She also said she\u2019ll continue to be open about her life on and off reality TV. <\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re facing challenges,\u201d she shared, \u201cI\u2019m always honest about what I\u2019m going through, what I\u2019m dealing with at home.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re not only facing these challenges at home, but you have to share them with the world,\u201d she added. \u201cSo I just do my best to be vulnerable, honest and real.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to their salon business, Angie<\/strong> and Shawn<\/strong> are also parents to a 15-year-old daughter, Elektra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n While speaking of E! News<\/em>, Angie<\/strong> confirmed she wouldn\u2019t be taking a similar route to co-star Bronwyn Newport<\/strong> in dating around right away. <\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s not even divorced yet, and she\u2019s already tried out six new models, and of all ages, and good for her,\u201d she teased. \u201cI\u2019m a little old school, so I usually would probably personally wait until it was official.
