\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Octavia Spencer<\/strong><\/a> and Hannah Waddingham<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s buddy spy comedy series Ride or Die<\/strong><\/a><\/em> has been canceled after just one season on Prime Video<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n The streamer has opted not to renew the show, which premiered in July and became a quick hit, landing at No 1 in the US rankings on the platform regularly, according to Deadline<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n After two days of being out, the comedy series made Luminate\u2019s weekly rankings in the US with 927k views, twice that of Elle<\/strong><\/a> <\/em>and nearly four times that of Off Campus<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, both of which have been renewed.<\/p>\n The show also landed in Nielsen\u2019s Top 10, debuting at No 8 on the overall streaming chart, and at No 3 among originals with 869 million minutes viewed. It then went up to No 4 on the overall streaming chart and to No 2 among originals in its second week!<\/p>\n In its first two weeks, Ride or Die<\/em> became Prime Video\u2019s most-watched new scripted series of the past year.<\/p>\n The show also rated well with critics and audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 96% Tomatometer score for critics and an 85% among viewers. <\/p>\n While Prime Video has opted not to renew, the show\u2019s main studio, Paramount Television Studios, is reportedly shopping the series to find a new home. <\/p>\n Ride or Die<\/em> follows best friends Debbie Claybourne (Spencer<\/strong>) and Judith Burton (Waddingham<\/strong>) who thought they knew everything about each other, except Judith turns out to be an international assassin. When a mysterious figure emerges from Judith\u2019s past and a hit goes horribly wrong, both of their worlds are turned upside down as they\u2019re forced to go on the run together. It\u2019s a race against time and a road trip across Europe, with law enforcement, highly trained assassins, and some very dangerous criminals at their heels.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n In addition to starring, Octavia<\/strong> and Hannah <\/strong>also served as executive producers.
