Carson Rowland<\/strong> just broke his silence after Netflix\u2019s shocking decision to cancel Sweet Magnolias<\/em> <\/a>after his exit from the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cEnd of an era,\u201d Rowland, 28, wrote via Instagram Story on Friday, September 18, alongside a photo of the show on Netflix.<\/p>\n

The reaction came shortly after news broke that Netflix chose not<\/a> to renew Sweet Magnolias<\/em> for a sixth season. Instead, the streaming service ordered a new drama series from Sweet Magnolias\u2019 showrunner Sheryl J. Anderson<\/strong> \u2014 with JoAnna Garcia Swisher<\/strong> set to executive produce and potentially star in.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll grand adventures must eventually end,\u201d read a post from the show\u2019s official Instagram account. \u201cAnd here, dear friends, is where ours goes. Sweet Magnolias is now complete with five seasons streaming on Netflix.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sweet Magnolias<\/em>, which premiered in 2020, is based on Sherryl Woods<\/strong>\u2019 novels about three women who have been best friends since childhood as they navigate their romantic lives, careers and family.<\/p>\n

Before season 5 premiered in June, Us<\/em> broke the news that Rowland wouldn\u2019t<\/a> reprise his role as Ty. Anderson exclusively told Us<\/em> that the actor made the \u201cdecision\u201d to sit out.<\/p>\n
