Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/em> <\/a>star, Jenni \u201cJWoww\u201d Farley<\/strong><\/a>, is clapping back against the haters.<\/p>\n

After a video featuring Farley with a noticeably slimmed physique was posted via social media<\/a> on Friday, September 18, people flocked to the comments section to criticize her weight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Farley, 41, addressed the criticism \u2013 including accusations that she had taken Ozempic or other GLP-1 medication to achieve the look \u2013 via a comment of her own.<\/p>\n

\u201cApologies to everyone offended by my weight lol.\u201d she wrote. \u201cI have never been this thin since middle school, but unfortunately, I was told I couldn\u2019t eat for six days in the hospital as they debated taking out my appendix while I was also suffering from a kidney abscess the size of a golf ball\u2026 appendicitis, and a kidney infection sucks (and because I had this ongoing I was losing weight over the summer).<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cBut what sucks more is the fact that I can\u2019t control how thin I am right now and I did not do any \u2018shots\u2019 for this to happen\u2026 but I will ask when I gain all the [weight] back for you to then comment about how fat I got \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02 because women can\u2019t win either way.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, several followers defended Farley against the more aggressive commenters.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs someone who has been through major health battles myself, this breaks my heart. People have NO idea what illness does to the body,\u201d wrote one social media user. \u201cThere\u2019s a total lack of sympathy and understanding from those who expect everyone to be 100% all the time. They think if they can\u2019t feel it, it isn\u2019t real. It\u2019s not true. You are a warrior, and you just keep shining bright \u2728\ufe0f\ud83d\udc9c\u201d<\/p>\n

Another told Farley, \u201cDo what you have to do to make yourself healthy. People will always have opinions. The only ones that matter know your struggle and support you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Farley opened about her health ordeal<\/a>, which led to her being hospitalized.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot the \u2018first day of school\u2019 picture I wanted to post\u2026 but then again, I guess we wouldn\u2019t have one,\u201d Farley wrote via Instagram on September 3, alongside a photo of herself wearing a hospital gown.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJersey Shore\u2019s Jenni \u2018JWoww\u2019 Farley is taking aim at people who criticized her for not inviting them to her wedding to Zack Carpinello. Taking to her Instagram on Thursday, June 25, Farley, 41, doubled-down on her decision to leave some people off the guest list, telling them via a video: \u201cYou proved my point.\u201d \u201cI\u2019m [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her daughter Meilani, 12, and son Greyson, 10, whom she shares with ex-husband Roger Mathews<\/strong>, were also featured in the image.<\/p>\n
