\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Nicola Coughlan<\/strong><\/a> actually sparkled on the pink carpet in London this week for the Barbie<\/em><\/strong><\/a> premiere!<\/p>\n The 36-year-old actress took a note<\/a> from co-star Margot Robbie<\/strong><\/a> and channeled her own, favorite Barbie doll for the event, and put a little Bridgerton<\/em><\/strong><\/a> twist on it.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Nicola <\/strong>shared her getting ready story with British Vogue<\/a><\/em>, opening up about the doll she paid tribute to and how her look was also inspired by Bridgerton<\/em> at the same time.<\/p>\n \u201cI was a huge Barbie fan as a little girl,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cTo even be a tiny part of this movie is incredible.\u201d<\/p>\n For her premiere look, and in the movie, Nicola <\/strong>didn\u2019t hesitate to channel Sparkle Eyes Barbie.<\/p>\n \u201cI felt like I was a little kid again. It\u2019s a huge Hollywood movie \u2013 I never expected [Jacqueline] to ask my opinion on it,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n In the film, fans will see Nicola<\/strong><\/strong>, as Diplomat Barbie, wear a sparkling pink and silver dress, just like the doll.<\/p>\n For the premiere, she replicated her look: \u201cI thought it\u2019d be amazing to reference the look from the movie, so when I spoke to [stylist] Aimee [Croysdill], I said I\u2019d love to wear something silver and inspired by [the Sparkle Eyes Barbie].\u201d<\/p>\n As for the Bridgerton <\/em>twist, Nicola <\/strong>added a corset to her look.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve had the privilege of wearing so many incredible costumes on Bridgerton, especially in season three,\u201d she shared. \u201cI really got a new appreciation for corsetry and Aimee and I said it would be so nice to start incorporating the corset [on the red carpet]. It\u2019s a little bit of a bridge between Barbie and Bridgerton.\u201d<\/p>\n Nicola<\/strong>\u2018s Wiederhoeft <\/em>dress, was made from Tencel and embroidered with Swarovski <\/em>glass crystals.
