Frankie Muniz has opened up about his struggles<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old actor recently announced his separation from Paige Price, his wife, and Frankie has now taken to social media to reflect on a particularly turbulent period in his life.<\/p>\n
The Hollywood star wrote on Instagram: “The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I\u2019m praying to wake up from. Everything felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time. I wouldn\u2019t wish this season on anyone.<\/p>\n
“The unexpected gift in the middle of it is that I\u2019ve had nowhere to hide. I\u2019ve had time to sit with myself, do real self-reflection, and finally see the areas of my life that need work if I want to become a better version of me. Not the polished version I show the world…the actual one.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“I read that sometimes hitting rock bottom is the thing that wakes you up. It forces the changes you needed to make all along so you can live the best life possible. That idea has been sitting with me. In five years I believe I\u2019ll look back at this exact low point and feel grateful for it, because the high I\u2019ll be standing on then only exists because I went through this. (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nDespite this, Frankie is refusing to remain downbeat, and he’s encouraged other people to follow suit.<\/p>\n
\nThe actor – who has Mauz, five, with Paige – continued: “This isn\u2019t the end of the story. It\u2019s the part where I start doing the work…the uncomfortable, unglamorous, necessary work. I\u2019m choosing to treat this season as the foundation, not the finish line.<\/p>\n
\n“If you\u2019re in a low place right now too, you\u2019re not broken. You\u2019re being rebuilt. Let’s keep going! (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nFrankie announced his separation from Paige via a social media post earlier this year.<\/p>\n
\nThe actor said at the time: “After 10 beautiful years together, we\u2019ve grown in ways that made us realise our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents.<\/p>\n
\n“We share an incredible son who remains the centre of our world, and we\u2019re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we\u2019ve shared.”<\/p>\n
