James Wehr<\/strong>\u2019s family has announced a memorial for the late car influencer and \u201chis friend,\u201d Alexis \u201cLexi\u201d Kramer<\/strong><\/a>, following their deaths.<\/p>\n

South OC Cars and Coffee, which Wehr cofounded with his father, Simon Wehr<\/strong>, shared details of a special celebration of life for Wehr, set to take place in San Clemente, California, on Saturday, September 19.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease join us as we remember our son James and his friend Lexi, who tragically lost their lives together,\u201d the family wrote via Instagram<\/a>. \u201cThis Saturday, we will be gathering to remember and honor James, who meant so much to so many in the car community.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA celebration of James\u2019 life will take place at South OC Cars and Coffee this Saturday, September 19, from 8:30\u201311:00 a.m.,\u201d the post continued. \u201cEveryone is welcome to join us as we come together to remember James and celebrate the incredible impact he had on so many lives.\u201d<\/p>\n

James and another passenger were involved in a fiery car accident in Irvine, California, in the early hours of Sunday, September 13. Wehr, who was 27, and Kramer, 22, were killed in a fatal car accident in Irvine, California<\/a>, in the early hours of Sunday, September 13. Irvine police said Wehr was driving a 2019 McLaren supercar but \u201clost control\u201d while traveling \u201cnorthbound at a high speed.\u201d Wehr \u201cstruck a curb and a tree\u201d before the car \u201csplit in two and caught fire.\u201d<\/p>\n

South OC Cars and Coffee, which describes itself as the \u201clargest weekly car show in the world,\u201d identified Wehr as one of the two victims who perished in an Instagram post shared on Sunday. The post was reshared by Wehr\u2019s parents, Simon and Sarah Wehr<\/strong>, his sister, Sophia Wehr<\/strong>, and his wife, Emma Wehr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
