The finale of Big Brother<\/strong><\/a><\/em> is getting closer and closer and now there are only 5 contestants remaining in the house following tonight\u2019s double eviction episode. <\/p>\n

During the Thursday, September 17, episode, filmed live on the CBS lot in Los Angeles, Julie Chen Moonves<\/strong><\/a> broke the news to the houseguests that two people would be going home. <\/p>\n

Big Brother<\/em> airs three episodes every week, as well as a new episode of recap show Big Brother Unlocked every other week.<\/p>\n

<\/figure>\n

Yash was the Head of Household this past week<\/h3>\n

Yash Patel<\/strong>, a 24-year-old finance analyst from New Jersey, won this week\u2019s Head of Household competition.<\/p>\n

He nominated Barrett, Melody,<\/strong> and Drew<\/strong> for eviction this week.<\/p>\n

Drew <\/strong>won Power of Veto and took himself off of the block. Taylor<\/strong> was nominated in his place as it was Yash<\/strong>\u2018s only option due to his bribe with Dee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Melody won the BB Blockbuster competition<\/h3>\n

Each Thursday night, there is a BB Blockbuster competition before the eviction. The three final nominees compete against each other for a chance to be saved.<\/p>\n

Melody<\/strong> won and was taken off the nomination block, leaving Barrett<\/strong> and Taylor<\/strong> as the nominees. <\/p>\n

Barrett was evicted from the house<\/h3>\n

By a vote of 4-1, Barrett <\/strong>was evicted from the house.<\/p>\n

Dee<\/strong>, Devens<\/strong>, and Drew <\/strong>all voted to evict him while Melody<\/strong> voted to evict Taylor<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Melody won the next Head of Household competition<\/h3>\n

Melody <\/strong>won HOH and had to immediately nominate two people for eviction. For the double elimination night, there were only two nominees instead of three. <\/p>\n

Dee and Devens were nominated for eviction<\/h3>\n

The two nominees during the double eviction round were icons Dee <\/strong>and Devens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Devens won the veto, and Yash was the replacement nominee<\/h3>\n

All six remaining players participated in the veto competition and Devens <\/strong>won, allowing him to remove himself from the block. The replacement nominee was Yash<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The final two people remaining on the block were Dee<\/strong> and Yash<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Yash was evicted from the house<\/h3>\n

By a vote of 2-1, Yash <\/strong>was evicted from the house.<\/p>\n

Devens<\/strong> and Drew <\/strong>both voted to evict Yash <\/strong>while Taylor <\/strong>voted to evict Dee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

CBS has confirmed when the Big Brother<\/em> finale<\/a> will air this year.<\/p>\n
