Wicked actress Marissa Bode, who uses a wheelchar, accused the Castle on the Hill hitmaker of being spineless.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote on her Instagram account: “Ed Sheeran, my legs may not work like they used to before, but at least I have a f****** spine. Free Palestine, b**** (sic)”<\/p>\n
\nAnd children’s YouTube sensation Ms. Rachel hit out at Ed for having “caved” to people who opposed Macklemore’s advocacy.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote: “Ed Sheeran had an opportunity [to] show that we won\u2019t be bullied into punishing people for supporting Palestine. Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows. A genocide is happening in Gaza. We all need to speak out against it.(sic)”<\/p>\n
\nRoger Waters also launched a scathing attack on Ed.<\/p>\n
\nIn a clip titled Ed Who?, he ranted: “I just have a little message for you. There are two kinds of people in this world. Some people do the right thing. That rapper, Macklemore, would be one of those people.<\/p>\n
\n“And there are people who are p*****, like you, who do the wrong thing. Goodbye.”<\/p>\n
\nAfter Macklemore was dropped from the tour, other support acts including Finneas, Lukas Graham and Aaron Rowe, as well as Ed’s touring band Beoga, announced they were also stepping away and would no longer perform at any of the concerts.<\/p>\n
\nThe row started when Macklemore took to the stage to open Ed’s Loop Tour at New Jersey\u2019s MetLife Stadium, and he told the crowd: “One of the reasons why I wanted to come on this tour was because I wanted to stand up here on stages in stadiums across America and say two words that are very near and dear to my heart: Free Palestine. I said, Free Palestine!”<\/p>\n
\nHe later revealed he had been removed from the tour but insisted he didn’t blame Ed.<\/p>\n
\nHe wrote on Instagram: “I\u2019m not sure how to start this. So I\u2019m going to speak from the heart and share the truth. Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour.”<\/p>\n
\nMacklemore told how he had shared some “difficult conversations” with his “friend” Ed in recent days, but insisted he doesn’t want to “tear down” the star’s character.<\/p>\n
\nThe Thrift Shop hitmaker also claimed Robert Kraft – the owner of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium – left Ed in a “f***** up position” in terms of his position on the tour.<\/p>\n
\nMacklemore – who was due to support Sheeran at Gillette Stadium on September 25th and 26th – wrote: “Ed told me that Kraft said I would not be allowed to perform in his stadium.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cEd also told me that Kraft had rallied some of the other stadium owners and collectively they gave him an ultimatum: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you will not be allowed to play in our venues.<\/p>\n
\n“Ed was in a f***** up position. He knew it.”<\/p>\n
