Hayden Panettiere<\/strong><\/a>‘s on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson<\/strong><\/a> is sharing some rare comments, a month after her death.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday (September 16), Brian<\/strong>, 36, was approached by a photographer outside of a gas station in Greenville, South Carolina, as seen in footage obtained by E! News<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

When asked how he’s holding up, Brian<\/strong> fired back, “How do you think I’m doing?”<\/p>\n

The photographer then extended condolences, and Brian<\/strong> replied, \u201cAppreciate it. That\u2019s all I got for you, man.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tense interaction comes just days after Brian<\/strong> was detained by police<\/a> following in a reported assault at a bar. His brother Zach Hickerson<\/strong><\/a>, who was also present when Hayden<\/strong> died last month, was arrested following the incident.<\/p>\n

Brian<\/strong> was ultimately released without charges while Zach<\/strong> was charged with disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n

Hayden passed away at the age of 36 on August 16<\/a>, and authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her passing.<\/p>\n
