Selena Gomez<\/a> has insisted she\u2019s \u201cnot scared at all\u201d about getting older, and says it\u2019s \u201cbeen so fun\u201d up until now. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Selena Gomez isn’t afraid of ageing<\/p>\n
The singer and actress began in the industry when she was just 10 years old, starring in Barney Friends. <\/p>\n
She\u2019s now 34, but said in an interview with People that she isn\u2019t at all afraid of ageing. <\/p>\n
Selena said: \u201cI don\u2019t feel like it\u2019s a bad thing. Getting older has been so fun.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not scared at all. I love getting older. Things are going to change and things are going to sag, but you\u2019re alive. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI think age is just a number in many ways.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nElsewhere in the interview, Selena spoke about her relationship with husband Benny Blanco, as she paid tribute to him for helping broaden her outlook on life. <\/p>\n
\nAsked if there\u2019s anything about the way Benny approach life that she\u2019s adopted, Selena replied: \u201cYeah, stop overthinking and be a little bit more confident. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat\u2019s something he doesn\u2019t pressure me to be. He just inspires me to be that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nOther people who have had a \u201ctremendous impact\u201d on Selena and her view on life are her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin, Meryl Streep and Martin Short. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThey don\u2019t make me feel silly for asking them anything. They\u2019ve shown me what it means to have dignity, to have class, to understand that the world doesn\u2019t always have to be a serious place. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u00a0is\u00a0a serious place, but they talk about ideas and things that would be advancing someone\u2019s life. It\u2019s not dumb, numb conversations.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSelena also paid tribute to her co-stars for demonstrating how to live a full personal life while also keeping busy with work. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThey all have families and they\u2019ve lived life in a way that I never have. It makes me excited to. Maybe that\u2019s why I\u2019m not afraid of getting older – because people have made it look really good to me by example.\u201d<\/p>\n
