Kristin Cavallari<\/strong><\/a> is returning to acting for a new romantic comedy on The Roku Channel! <\/p>\n

The 39-year-old, who is best known for starring in such reality shows as Laguna Beach<\/em> and The Hills<\/em>, will star in the upcoming rom-com, Cowboy Hearts<\/strong><\/em>, alongside Tanner Novlan<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

What is Cowboy Hearts<\/em> about?<\/h3>\n

When a no-nonsense reality TV producer (Cavallari<\/strong>) is sent to Georgia to oversee the reboot of the hit dating show ‘Cowboy Hearts,’ she expects chaos behind the scenes, not romantic sparks with the cowboy himself (Novlan<\/strong>). Now, with the cameras rolling and her job on the line, she\u2019ll have to decide if love is worth going off script.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This marks Kristin<\/strong>‘s first feature film leading role in over 17 years, and follows the success of the Laguna Beach<\/em> reunion special on The Roku Channel. <\/p>\n

“I\u2019m so excited to be stepping back into acting and getting to do something completely different with a rom-com!\u201d\u00a0Kristin<\/strong> shared in a statement. \u201cAfter such a great experience working with Roku on The Reunion: Laguna Beach<\/em>, it feels especially exciting to be working with their team again \u2014 but this time for a scripted film! I can\u2019t wait for everyone to see it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Kristin<\/strong> made an appearance as herself in an episode of 9-1-1: Nashville<\/em>. Other past acting credits include The Middle<\/em>, Van Wilder: Freshman Year<\/em>, Wild Cherry<\/em>, CSI: NY<\/em>, Cheerleader Camp<\/em>, and Veronica Mars<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Tanner<\/strong> is best known for playing Dr John Finnegan on The Bold and the Beautiful<\/em>. He’s also starred in Hallmark Christmas movies Debbie Macomber’s Joyful Mrs. Miracle<\/em> and Christmas Class Reunion<\/em>, and he had a recurring role on Roswell, New Mexico<\/em>, among several other acting credits. You may also recognize him from the Liberty Mutual commercials!<\/p>\n

Kristin<\/strong> and Tanner<\/strong>‘s Cowboy Hearts<\/em> is set to debut on The Roku Channel in early 2027.<\/p>\n
