Tom Cruise is still chasing his dreams<\/p>\n
The 64-year-old actor has enjoyed huge success in his career, but he’s constantly chasing fresh challenges, describing himself as “an all-in kind of guy”.<\/p>\n
The Hollywood star told GQ magazine: “Life, I\u2019m coming right at it. It\u2019s coming at me and I\u2019m coming right at it. <\/p>\n
“I am not a halfway kind of person. I\u2019m just not. And I never want to be like: ‘You hit that peak.’ There\u2019s always a new dream. <\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“You\u2019re asking me about being 64. I\u2019m going, there\u2019s so much life, and there\u2019s always another dream. I think that a person without a dream, they\u2019ve decided not to live.”<\/p>\n
\nTom believes he looks at life in a different way to most people.<\/p>\n
\nThe actor shared: “I see life in a different way. I see it in a way of stories. <\/p>\n
\n“I don\u2019t see life in that way. I see life \u2014 yeah. It\u2019s something where I see possibilities. I see future. Yeah. I don\u2019t look at life like that. There\u2019s so many things that I enjoy and like doing and I\u2019m interested in. So that\u2019s how I see life.”<\/p>\n
\nTom looks to learn from history, but he refused to live “in the past”.<\/p>\n
\nThe Mission: Impossible star – who was previously married to movie stars Mimi Rogers, Nicole Kidman, and Katie Holmes – explained: “I look back to evaluate how I can do things better. Where I\u2019m going, ‘What worked and what didn\u2019t work?’ <\/p>\n
\n“I can look back at things in a joyful way. I\u2019m looking at history. I\u2019m looking at what worked previously. We\u2019re now going back to older lenses, and we\u2019re looking at how do we get that look and how do we get this today and where are we moving forward? I\u2019m not someone who lives in the past. Do you know what I\u2019m saying? <\/p>\n
\n“I\u2019m not stuck in the past. There\u2019s that joy of creating something, in the accomplishment, and then there\u2019s always a new dream. There\u2019s always the bigger dream. And that\u2019s the thing. That\u2019s what I\u2019ve always been interested in.”<\/p>\n
