The biggest names in entertainment celebrated excellence in television during the 2026 Emmys<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mariska Hargitay<\/strong><\/a> hosted a star-studded 78th annual ceremony \u2014 featuring cameos from newlywed Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and New York Knicks MVP Jalen Brunson<\/strong> \u2014 but some of the most exciting moments happened while the cameras were not rolling.<\/p>\n

From Harrison Ford<\/strong> tearing up during Michael J. Fox<\/strong>\u2019s Bob Hope Humanitarian Award acceptance speech to a heartfelt tribute for the late Catherine O\u2019Hara<\/strong> bringing the house down, Us<\/em> staff were in attendance at the Peacock Theater to witness it all.<\/p>\n

One particularly dramatic moment occurred during a powwow between controversial NFL star Aaron Rodgers<\/strong>\u2019 exes Shailene Woodley<\/strong> and Olivia Munn<\/strong> while Kaley Cuoco<\/strong> shared a sweet kiss<\/a> with fianc\u00e9 Tom Pelphrey<\/strong> following his Emmy win<\/a> for Task<\/em>. Guillermo Rodriguez<\/strong> even had time to campaign for some Dancing With the Stars<\/em> votes from Us<\/em> while attending the industry gala.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTelevision\u2019s biggest stars stepped into the spotlight for the 2026 Emmys, bringing plenty of personality to the red carpet. Celebrities showed their sartorial flair while posing for the cameras at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Monday, September 14. From bold fashion statements to timeless Hollywood looks, there was no shortage of glamour [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Meeting of Aaron Rodgers\u2019 Exes<\/h2>\n

One of the most unexpected off-camera moments took place when two of Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers\u2019 exes, Shailene Woodley and Olivia Munn, seemingly had a deep conversation.<\/p>\n

Fresh off Rodgers\u2019 controversial comments<\/a> about Woodley, the Paradise<\/em> actress was seen shaking her head during her and Munn\u2019s deep conversation. Munn showed support by holding Woodley\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n

There is no telling exactly what the two ladies were discussing, but it has certainly been an eventful week to be one of Rodgers\u2019 exes.<\/p>\n

Later in the evening, Shailene walked over to join Munn and her partner John Mulaney<\/strong> as they chatted with Jason Segel<\/strong> and his fianc\u00e9e Kayla Radomski<\/strong>. Woodley hugged Munn, before telling Segel and his fianc\u00e9e, \u201cOh, a wedding! Congrats, when and where?! I\u2019ll be there!\u201d<\/p>\n

Kaley Cuoco Beamed As Fiance Tom Pelphrey Accepted His Emmy<\/h2>\n

No one was happier for Task<\/em> star Tom Pelphrey than his pregnant fianc\u00e9e Kaley Cuoco when he won the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. The Big Bang Theory<\/em> actress jumped out of her seat to share a kiss with Pelphrey before he headed towards the stage to accept his award.<\/p>\n

Cuoco was visibly emotional \u2014 even tearing up at times \u2014 as her beau called their family \u201cthe crown jewel of [his] life\u201d during his acceptance speech.<\/p>\n

The happy couple seemed to be thrilled when they were introduced to Shailene Woodley later in the night. Woodley offered her congratulations to Pelphrey on his big win.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Pluribus\u2019 Cast Showed Rhea Seehorn Lots of Love<\/h2>\n

The former Better Call Saul<\/em> actress was greeted with huge cheers from her Pluribus<\/em> cast and crew when she won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.<\/p>\n

Rhea Seehorn<\/strong> returned the love on the Emmy stage during her acceptance speech, as she thanked her \u201cdear beloved cast\u201d as well as the \u201cwhole crew, my producers, my writers, the incredible background artists on the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> witnessed Seehorn looking like she was on cloud nine as she celebrated her first Emmy win after three previous nominations.<\/p>\n

Keri Russell<\/strong> was seated nearby and later congratulated Seehorn on her big moment, telling her it was \u201cso f***ing nice what [she] said\u201d in her acceptance speech. The two chatted and posed for a photo together.<\/p>\n

The Emmys Bar Was Jam Packed<\/h2>\n

The backstage bar was a madhouse with celebrities nearly packed wall-to-wall while they refreshed themselves in between televised segments. Nobody Wants This<\/em>\u2019 Adam Brody<\/strong> hung out with costars Timothy Simons<\/strong> and Jackie Tohn<\/strong>, making sure to hydrate with water and chowing down on popcorn.<\/p>\n

Guillermo Rodriguez Campaigned for \u2018Dancing With the Stars\u2019 Votes<\/h2>\n

The Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> sidekick was outgoing as he greeted fans, taking time to pose for photos and have a few brief conversations.<\/p>\n

With the DWTS<\/em> premiere<\/a> mere hours away, Guillermo Rodriguez made sure to canvas Us<\/em> for votes. (He is paired with professional partner Witney Carson<\/strong> on DWTS<\/em> season 35, which airs a two-night premiere on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16.)<\/p>\n

\u2018The Bear\u2019 Costars Took a Breather<\/h2>\n

Ayo Edebiri<\/strong> and Abby Elliott<\/strong> \u2014 who play Sydney and Natalie on The Bear<\/em> \u2014 were spotted walking back into the Peacock Theater after taking a breather. The two were locked in conversation as Abby held a beverage in her hand.<\/p>\n

The Bear<\/em>\u2019s single Emmy win this year was particularly emotional as the award went to the late Rob Reiner<\/strong> for his guest appearance on the dramedy.<\/p>\n

Brooks Nader Was<\/strong> Quite the Attraction<\/h2>\n

Sports Illustrated<\/em> cover model Brooks Nader<\/strong> took pictures with people throughout the night as she joined Baywatch<\/em> costars Noah Beck<\/strong>, Jessica Belkin<\/strong>, Thaddeus LaGrone<\/strong> and Hassie Harrison<\/strong> at the gala.<\/p>\n

Nader also delighted in some of the refreshments at her table, chomping down on handfuls of chips.<\/p>\n

During a bathroom break, Brooks touched up sister Sarah Jane Nader<\/strong>\u2019s makeup as she relayed a story about someone telling her, \u201cYou think you\u2019re all that and a bag of chips.\u201d The two joked about their excitement to change into more comfy clothes after the show ended.<\/p>\n

The Nader sisters were later seen exiting the venue arm-in-arm.<\/p>\n

Stephen Colbert Had a Late-Night Reunion<\/h2>\n

The Emmys almost turned into an episode of the beloved \u201cStrike Force Five\u201d podcast when the final season of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em> won Outstanding Variety Series. Fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> and Jon Stewart<\/strong> were among the first to congratulate Stephen Colbert, with the trio hugging before Colbert made his way to the stage.<\/p>\n

Colbert delivered a stirring acceptance speech, defending late-night TV as a vital proving ground for young entertainment professionals. He made a quick exit as the ceremony concluded, yet he still stopped to take photos with fans in the lobby.<\/p>\n

Lisa Rinna Strutted Her Stuff<\/h2>\n

The RHOBH<\/em> alum was seated in the first row with husband Harry Hamlin<\/strong> alongside TV legend Jane Seymour<\/strong> and the casts of Widow\u2019s Bay<\/em> and Abbott Elementary<\/em>.<\/p>\n

At one point, Lisa Rinna<\/strong> got up to stretch her legs with a little dance to entertain Hamlin.<\/p>\n

Jason Segel Was Living His Best Life<\/h2>\n

It seemed to Us<\/em> like nobody had more fun at the Emmys this year than Jason Segel. When he wasn\u2019t chatting with Olivia Munn and John Mulaney, he mingled with celebs like Sterling K. Brown<\/strong> during commercial breaks.<\/p>\n

The Shrinking<\/em> actor seemed to take his Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series loss in stride as he soaked in the evening with fianc\u00e9e Kayla Radomski. (Matthew Rhys<\/strong> won the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series award for Widow\u2019s Bay<\/em>.)<\/p>\n

Schitt Creek\u2019s and \u2018Home Alone\u2019 Stars Honored the Late Catherine O\u2019Hara<\/h2>\n

There wasn\u2019t a dry eye in the house when three of the late Catherine O\u2019Hara\u2019s onscreen kids \u2014 Home Alone<\/em>\u2019s Macaulay Culkin<\/strong> as well as Schitt\u2019s Creek<\/em> duo Dan Levy<\/strong> and Annie Murphy<\/strong> \u2014 honored her immense legacy.<\/p>\n

Lisa Rinna cheered from the audience when Levy mentioned in his speech that O\u2019Hara told him she\u2019d \u201calways say yes\u201d to any character over 60 wearing a miniskirt and a wig. Later in the night, Levy and Murphy relished their reunion as they chatted away at their table.<\/p>\n
