The 30-year-old actor stars in two big movies that are currently in theaters \u2013 The Odyssey<\/em> and Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> \u2013 and both films have been breaking records. <\/p>\n

However, with the success of those two movies, Tom <\/strong>is breaking a record of his own, and has become the highest-grossing actor at the box office!<\/p>\n

As Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> continues to rack up millions at the box office, it brings Tom<\/strong> to the top of the highest-grossing stars at the box office, with his theatrical releases earning $15.5 billion, per ComicBook.com<\/a>!<\/p>\n

At this weekend\u2019s box office, Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> earned an additional $27.4 million worldwide, bringing its total to $2.452 billion, per Deadline<\/a><\/em>. The fourth Spider-Man movie for Tom<\/strong> is also now the third highest-grossing film of all time, and it\u2019s tracking to become the highest-grossing film at the domestic box office, needing $18.9 million more in earnings in the US to surpass Star Wars: The Force Awakens<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For The Odyssey<\/em>, the film earned an additional $34.4 million this weekend worldwide, bringing its total to $1.68 billion. <\/p>\n

With Tom<\/strong>\u2018s latest box office feats, he has now passed several other Marvel stars to take the top spot as the highest-grossing actor!<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, it was revealed<\/a> that Zoe Saldana<\/strong><\/a> took the top spot, following the success of Avatar: Fire and Ash<\/em>. Her cumulative total of box office earnings came to $15.468 billion! <\/p>\n

She surpassed Scarlett Johansson<\/strong><\/a> at $15.401 billion, who previously held the title. Also among the top earners are Samuel L Jackson<\/strong><\/a> with $14.6 billion, Robert Downey Jr<\/strong><\/a> with $14.3 billion, and Chris Pratt<\/strong><\/a> with $14.1 billion. <\/p>\n

All the top-earning actors at the box office are part of the MCU, whose movies are among the highest-grossing. Avengers: Endgame<\/em> is the second-highest-grossing film of all time, and Avengers: Infinity War<\/em> is the sixth.<\/p>\n
