Lee made a TikTok giving his &#8220;testimony&#8221; that God saved him from the accident.\n<p>However, the video generated backlash, with viewers and commentators wondering why God would choose to kill a different, innocent person. It has prompted a wave of conversation on TikTok about why God would supposedly protect one person who believes in Christianity while sacrificing dozens of innocent people to other tragedies such as the mudslides in Nepal. Like&#8230;did God not care about the young dad who died?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday the 10th was the so-called Kirkiversary, or the anniversary of Charlie Kirk&#8217;s death. I guess the best thing I can say is that I&#8217;m glad his death didn&#8217;t prompt any more violence, and at least there were some funny memes. A mom called Ren posted about how her daughter came home with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@renwithoutcontext\/video\/7680316452892642590\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">purple hair<\/a> because her ex&#8217;s girlfriend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@renwithoutcontext\/video\/7680658202085625119\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">dyed it<\/a> without asking first.\n<p>Then, a stepmom posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@tryingmyfkinbest\/video\/7681820006014913806\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">smug TikTok<\/a> about how her stepson requested sushi for his birthday, but she charged him gas money to go get it. Then, she used his money to buy sushi&#8230;for herself. Why did she charge him gas money? Because he didn&#8217;t want to go with her to get it. Gee, I wonder why.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>A gal named Valentina came online to complain about how no one in her life told her about how much they disliked her husband until <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@valentina_marie18\/video\/7682138718458694926\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">after they divorced<\/a>. Promptly, a whole bunch of other TikTok-ers were like&#8230;naaaah, girl, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@aurajunkieagain\/video\/7683278615869459726\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">we don&#8217;t believe you<\/a>. Probably everybody told you and you just wouldn&#8217;t hear it.<\/li>\n<li>The topic of women propping up their musty boyfriends remains evergreen, unfortunately. If you recall, we had that article about how Gen Z women are financially supporting their scrub boyfriends. Then, we had a discussion about how women&#8217;s boyfriends who aren&#8217;t on their leases are ruining apartment complexes. This week, we have a woman who went viral for saying that other women are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@ihaveallthefeels\/video\/7683342440719306014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">hateful<\/a> if they order DoorDash with a female dasher, but a male dasher shows up instead, and they report the account. Fortunately, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@ashnspace\/video\/7683957684009291038\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">other women on TikTok<\/a> are like, nah, if a man can&#8217;t pass a background check to get a DoorDash gig, they are not opening their doors to him.<\/li>\n<li>BookTok mini-roundup:\n<p>-Just a few weeks ago, BookTok was aflame with outrage over the yet-unpublished R.F. Kuang novel <i>Tapei Story<\/i>. Someone leaked a rumor that a character in Kuang&#8217;s book supported Israel. Now that the book has actually been published, it&#8217;s not true. Lots of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@saatchiandsaatchi\/video\/7684068679859981581?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">discourse<\/a> on BookTok about this non-issue. Unsurprisingly, the BookTok-ers who were quick to try to cancel Kuang have been pretty quiet about this.<\/p>\n<p>-Mr. Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, co-wrote a book with James Patterson. It is called The Most Dangerous Games.
