The 57-year-old actress supported her 17-year-old daughter as she won the Breakthrough Model of the Year Award at the ceremony!<\/p>\n

Kai<\/strong>‘s big win at the awards ceremony was also a historic moment as she’s the first Trans girl to win the category!<\/p>\n

\u201c[It] is surreal and wouldn\u2019t be possible if not for all my sisters who paved the way for me in this industry, and I carry them with me into every room,” she said<\/a> on stage while accepting the award. <\/p>\n

She also said that she’s been “so graciously welcomed into this beautiful world of fashion,” via Daily Mail<\/a><\/em>, adding that she is “so beyond excited that I get to learn more about it every day and call it my job.” <\/p>\n

“I’m also the first transgender girl to win this award,” Kai<\/strong> said. <\/p>\n

She also thanked her famous parents, Naomi <\/strong>and Liev Schreiber<\/strong><\/a>, “for their unconditional support and devotion to making me happy and making my dreams come true. I’m so lucky to be supported by you,” <\/p>\n

Kai<\/strong> was presented the award by V Magazine<\/em> editor-in-chief, Stephen Gan<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

“Thank you to [Stephen Gan] @vmagazine for your beautiful awards,” Naomi<\/strong> wrote on her Instagram<\/a> story, along with a selfie of herself with Kai <\/strong>and Stephen<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Liev<\/strong> reposted the photo on his own account<\/a>, showing his support for his daughter’s big win. <\/p>\n

Kai <\/strong>celebrated her win on Instagram<\/a> as well, captioning a post, “2026 breakthrough model of the year! thank you <3” <\/p>\n

FYI: Kai<\/strong> and Naomi<\/strong> are wearing Valentino<\/em>.<\/p>\n
