Lady Gaga<\/a> and her fianc\u00e9, Michael Polansky, have welcomed their first child together.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Lady Gaga ‘welcomes first baby’<\/p>\n
The Born This Way singer, 40, and the 42-year-old entrepreneur – who have been engaged since March 2024 – were recently spotted on a family walk with Gaga holding the baby, according to the New York Post\u2019s Page Six.<\/p>\n
Reports of the new addition to their family come after Gaga had kept a low profile in recent months, last being seen in August when she took a selfie with a fan.<\/p>\n
Gaga \u2013 who is known as Mother Monster to her fans \u2013 has frequently spoken of her desire to become a mother.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last year, she said: \u201cI would like to do many things. All of these things are open. But what I really want is to be a mom. That\u2019s my next starring role, I hope.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd she told InStyle: \u201cI will say I am very excited to have kids. I look forward to being a mom. Isn\u2019t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it\u2019s our job to keep it alive.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe also spoke about her wishes for her future children, telling Elle.com: \u201cFamily – it\u2019s like the roots of the tree. They grow long, and sometimes they\u2019re mangled, and sometimes they\u2019re full of water, and sometimes they\u2019re thirsty. Family is what makes you who you are, and it also defines your need for change.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them. I would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me. Maybe other than that I just did my best. And tried to stay true to myself along the way. That\u2019s something Michael and I have talked about a lot – allowing our kids to be their own people. It\u2019s such an intense thing for kids coming into the world. And they\u2019re told how to think and what to believe in and how to eat\u2026 I just kind of want to let my kids find out who they are.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy kid might one day say, \u2018Mom, why do you do these things? I saw a funny video of you dressed up.\u2019 Most certainly that will happen. And you know, maybe it\u2019s okay to say, \u2018What do you think?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nGaga and Polansky were first linked in 2020 when they were photographed kissing in Las Vegas. They made their relationship Instagram official after being spotted together at the 2020 Super Bowl in Miami.<\/p>\n
\nThey quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic and in July 2024, Gaga revealed that she was engaged to Polansky when she introduced him to the French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics as her \u201cfianc\u00e9\u201d.<\/p>\n
