The 2026 Toronto International Film Festival<\/em><\/strong><\/a> kicked off this past week and there were tons of major premieres on Friday night (September 11). We’re recapping all of them in one place. <\/p>\n

Chase Infiniti<\/strong><\/a>, Christopher Briney<\/strong><\/a>, Lisa<\/strong><\/a>, Taron Egerton<\/strong><\/a>, Ayo Edebiri<\/strong><\/a>, Rebel Wilson<\/strong><\/a>, James McAvoy<\/strong><\/a>, Gary Oldman<\/strong><\/a>, Chloe Bailey<\/strong><\/a>, and more stars hit the red carpet in Toronto to promote the premieres of their films.<\/p>\n

TIFF is a major start to the upcoming awards season and the festival will give many film fans and critics a better idea of what to anticipate from the next year’s Oscars.<\/p>\n

The Julia Set<\/em>, starring Chase Infiniti, Christopher Briney, Chloe Bailey, and Jason Isaacs<\/h3>\n

Chase Infiniti<\/strong><\/a>, Christopher Briney<\/strong><\/a>, Jason Isaacs<\/strong><\/a>, Chloe Bailey<\/strong><\/a>, Nico Hiraga<\/strong>, Liz Lin<\/strong>, and Alex Dillard<\/strong> all went to TIFF on Friday night to promote their new movie The Julia Set<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Christopher <\/strong>also brought along his long-time girlfriend Isabel Machado<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Everybody Wants to F–k Me<\/em><\/em>, starring Taron Egerton and Jessica Henwick<\/h3>\n

Taron Egerton<\/strong><\/a> takes the lead in the comedy thriller film Everybody Wants to F–k Me<\/em>, which is described as a “darkly comic appraisal of modern dating and how some men signal virtues they don\u2019t possess.”<\/p>\n

Taron<\/strong>‘s co-stars Jessica Henwick<\/strong><\/a>, Charly Clive<\/strong><\/a>, and Herbert Nordrum<\/strong> also attended the TIFF premiere alongside him.<\/p>\n

Rebel Wilson<\/strong> stepped out to the world premiere of her movie Girl Group<\/em>, which she wrote, directed, and produced! Randall Park<\/strong><\/a> also joined her and Jennifer Coolidge<\/strong><\/a> attended the special RBC-hosted cocktail party in celebration of the premiere.<\/p>\n

“Rebel Wilson<\/strong> writes, directs, and stars in this story of a pop star who, following a downward spiral, finds a new sense of purpose by assembling a bunch of young up-and-comers to form a group of their own,” shares the TIFF description.<\/p>\n

“Jay Baruchel<\/strong> and director Michael Dowse<\/strong> re-team for a raucous yet heartfelt comedy about a Canadian stuntman who dared to dream big and fly (very) high,” reads the description.<\/p>\n
