Simpson trial,\u201d Cruz told\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=2889830284709706\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Newsmax<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this instance, there is no dispute that this monster of a mother murdered all three children \u2026 and didn\u2019t just murder them \u2014 slowly, deliberately, systematically used exercise bands to strangle the life out one after the other after the other.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, Cruz sides with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/09\/lindsay-clancy-jurors-holdout-arrogant-ignored-jury-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the lone holdout juror<\/a> (more on him later) who believed that Clancy should be held criminally liable for the deaths of her children.<\/p>\n<p>Clancy\u2019s outspoken attorney, Kevin Reddington, was quick to respond to his remarks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSenator Cruz, you, sir, are despicable. You clearly do not come close to understanding the basic concept of postpartum psychosis. Instead of making a rational observation, you call for her execution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reddington concluded by challenging Cruz to discuss the case with him directly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know where to find me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Eleven of the twelve jurors voted to acquit Clancy, but one man stood firm in his belief that Clancy\u2019s postpartum psychosis did not excuse her actions.<\/p>\n<p>A different juror, Paula Devlin, offered new details about the holdout\u2019s identity in an interview with Gayle King.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWas the person of color a woman or a man?\u201d King asked this morning. After Devlin replied in the affirmative, King asked:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs the holdout juror\u2026 a person of c\u2013 a black man?\u201d Again, Devlin said yes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA black man is the holdout juror?\u201d King reiterated, to which Devlin replied, \u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWoah, I have to sit with that for just a second,\u201d King replied.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, this case and the controversy surrounding it have become highly emotional issues for many observers.
